Hi Carl,

If the surrounding floor has been refinished before, and your replacement board hasn't been, then your replacement board will be HIGH. You can have the board planed at any wood shop. Kitchen cabinet makers have them. AT most, probably 1/8th - 1/4th inches will have to be planed off.
