my hous is late 1800 two-story lots of peaks and valleys faces east no ductwork upstairs at all not the best insulation 1500-2000 sq feet.i got an estimate for a carrier 93%, 58 mta 100 gas fired furnace, 2 stage 1000,000, carrier 38 txa 036, 3 ton, 13 seer(puron),thermostat,digital,safety disconnect outside for ac,conduit on high voltage wiring for ac, 100% safety shut-off gas controls on furnace, refrigeration grade copper tubing for ac, foam rubber installation of refrigeration suction line, reconnect gas line for heating unit, modify plenum and return boot, new ductwork designed for ac, pvc tube, external filter rack for ease in changing filters, safety shut-offsxitch at furnace, sheet metal speciall prepared to minimize noise, disconnect and remove from property unnecessary equipment, all new materials used in installation, condensate drain, new ac pad and air filer (75% filtration, change filter 1 annually cost about 60.00 dollars each filter change.)
