Hardwood floors in the desert

Posted by LORI on March 26th, 1998 01:52 PM

I live in the low desert in California and am considering having hardwood floors installed in my home. The temperatures in the summer can reach a scorching 125 degrees. The winters are mild and there is very little humidity. Is this a good or bad idea? P.S. Do dog's claws do alot of damage?
