Please help me figure out why my hardwood floors are bowing only at certain times of the year. From the beginning of installation the glaze started to pop at the seems and then the boards bow upward on the ends of each board. I am baffled my builder is baffled HELP! I don't know if I should pull the boards up start over or what. The wood was acclimated in our house before installation. We live on the coast which can and is humid but there are alot of homes that have hardwoods in this area and they have not buckled or bowed. Can you offer some suggestions. I also have my house foundation built up higher than normal and many foundation vents were installed to keep as much air flowing under the house as possible. I look forward to hearing from you.....
