hardwood floor & radiant heating

Posted by dabber on August 15th, 2002 01:31 PM

We are installing hardwood floor on a "warmboard" radiant heating system. "Warmboard" is subfloor with grooves for pex tubing. The instructions say to have the heating on before and during installation. It is over 90 degrees outside and almost impossible to get the heating to start. If the purpose is to reduce the moisture content in the sub-floor and the hardwood would turning on the air-conditioner work?
