If you really want to do this yourself,go to your local lumberyard or homecenter and look in their returns or bruised door section, they all have one by the new doors.Buy two of the cheapest doors that match the doors you want to install.Practice your door cutting, mortising, and hole cutting for the lock set,on these before you buy new doors. If you don't get it right the first time, you're out of luck. Now,take off all the trim around the doors, sawsall the nails around the jamb and rehang the the door and jamb.Put the trim back on(hope it covers the paint or wallpapper).
You may have no problem but I have yet to see one that does'nt.If you think twice about this, hire a good carpenter, that you have checked out,to do the work.Let them hang the doors then take down, take off hardware, paint, rehang.Luck
