Check your warranty again ... I have the
Reddington II, same fried receiver board. At least
on that model, only the fan motor is guaranteed
for life. Everything else is 1 year.
So now I need to shell out $60+S/H for a new
board ...
Seems like a number of people have fried receiver
boards. Looks to me like the thermal design is
bad (just an aluminum tab which may or may not
contact the light housing; good luck getting rid
of more than a couple watts of heat while sitting
in probably the warmest place they can think of
[near the lights]).
I don't even use the max wattage bulbs, and it
still fried (actually that may be why, if they
have a bad dimmer design too).
