I am remodeling my kitchen but have a ceramic tile floor that is fairly and I want to keep it.My only problem is that it has white grout (my husband's idea) and I want to make it a light gray. What is better,(Recoloring the grout would be a much easier solution, but first the grout must want to be colored, by this I mean that the grout must be free of sealers, soap residual, soiled contaminants, and houhold dirt. This is usually accomplished with a mild tile and grout cleaning solution, once the grout and tile are clean you can do a test to see if the colorant will adhere propely). removing it completely (need directions how) or is staining it an option and how long would that last? (Grout colorants if they are maintained propely with neutral ph cleaning products can last for 5-10 trs and in some cases 10-15). Good luck,

Thank you for your help.
