Do you know what quality of vinyl you had put on? vinyl siding may get wavy but the chances decrease with better quality vinyl and good intallation. If it is nailed off tightly it will wave no matter what. You should be able to slide any piece of siding with your hand slightly back and forth but not so much that it opens gaps between ends. This also means that you should be able to hook it at the nailing flange and pull it towards you very slightly there should be very little play between the siding and the house at the nailing flange, but not too much. Any professional installer knows this and these are a couple of tips for you. Also, if you had cheap vinyl put on, well, you get what you pay for....

good luck
