You are right. I was thinking residential but what JO tried to describe is the typical commercial toilet. As an aside, these urinal flushometers made by sloan, zurn, and others, were what we called sloan valves. I knew a strong guy who would go into a bathroom at a bar and unscrew and drop the nut on the union below the valve and above the urinal. When someone would flush it, they would get sprayed through the gap in the union. Sloan change the valve design so that couldn't be done anymore. I never was strong enough to do it. lol
