I manage a golf course on the East Coast. Our course is surrounded by houses also with some running inot your same problem. The majority of the houses here though were positioned away from errant golf shots. My suggestion would be to try to use a natural approach with trees or shrubery. Try to meet with the course's superintendant who probably could give you some suggestions on trees that will grow quickly and expand at a height that will stop most bad shots headed to your property. As a last resort and we have had last resorts here go to rangelandusa.com. They have netting made especially for golf course driving ranges that will stop anything. I would really think about other options before installing the netting.
