glue/cork spot removal

Elaine, I asume the glue/cork spots are on the drywall! Have you tried scraping the spots carefully with a putty knife or an all purpose painters tool with a sharp edge for scraping? be very careful to not tear the outer paper layer of the drywall, if possible, or you will have to smooth out with drywall mud and seal it before painting. I am not aware of any kind of adhesive remover that you could use to remove the glue...maybe someone else may know of a product.
