Glop on tile

Since you said it's raised......it's a surface coating/defect that needs to be removed.........

Try using a wooden stick to chip the old coating from the tile.........a putty knife would do it BUT the steel will mark the tile........Use a solvent to soften the old "glue".....maybe lacquer thinner (that won't hurt the tile or grout) and a plastic scrub pad or an old credit card........Doug
