GFCI problems.........

Stephanie......The posted details are few.........and good advice given........

You could also have the system wired 'correctly' and the circuit(s) has a "fault"......like a nicked wire......crushed cable......box-overfill problem ?

Question time........

Was an outlet installed here before ?
.......or was it a switch?
Do you KNOW how it was wired before ?

Is the GFCI crowded.......REAL tight getting into the box because of all the connections and wires?

How are the lights controlled in the room?

You said it was grounded.....How old is the wiring....... about?

You mentioned .....Two baths and outlets......same problems for both ?

Same (two sets) wiring both?

Both same circuit breaker/fuse?........was the old outlet(s) working correctly.....(or did they give you a little tingle in use ?)

do you have a VoltOhmMeter ?
