It's a ranch over basement so the garage is like a whole other floor 57 x 29. :) Basically I divided the garage into quarters. The workbench area, the two halves of the car area, the framed in room and the workbench outlet strip. Eventually I plan to have a compressor, but will probably keep it outside in a small housing so it won't deafen me when it kicks on. Costco has a 60 gallon for ~$300 I've been looking at. I like to work on cars and I think that will provide the oomph for air tools... So where Do I put the breakers? I hav already pulled and stapled wire to each of the outlets, is this something I can make a bank of next to the Breaker panel, stacking them one over the other running from the panel, thru the GFCI, then to the outlets? I can email you my layout and outlets if you like, to get a better idea of what I've done.
