There is a tradition in my household. My mother-in-law learned to drive later in life. My father-in-law put up a small aluminum garage to save money. Frequently, the neighborhood heard a loud crash as the center post of the garage was taken out as Mom returned. A helpful neighbor banged the center-piece post back into somewhat good shape each time so Dad wouldn't yell again all night. It is a story we hear at least twice per year now after 50 years have passed. Just a thought to your future.
