We moved into an older house about 2 years ago and the Garage Door Opener came with the "house". Its a Sears 1/2 Hp with the date 10/94. I have had other Sears Craftsman Garage Door Openers and they have all had the ability to change the frequency at the base and the remote. These remotes do not have that ability. I am concerned that if one of the units go out...then Im out of luck. I have two visor clipped remotes and one pocket size unit. I am also interested in getting another pocket unit or a outside mounted unit that has a security code. I have search the sears web site and did not find any info on garage door openers. I am afraid that I may be out of luck getting another remote since they have a match frequency......anyone have any suggestions....please e-mail me.....thanks
