I'm in real estate & was recently in a home that had it's galvanized pipes 'repaired' (for lack of a better term).
There is a company that flushed the pipes with something (not chemicals) & then seals the inside of the pipes (with a sealant that is approved by the health department). The sealant closes the small corroded pin holes.
I cannot remember the name of the company & didn't have a pen on me to write it down. Have you heard of this? Do you know the name of the company? This home is in Seattle Washington.
