We live in an upper level of a house...the upstairs is cold - but the apartment downstairs is warm....the thermastat looks old...when you take the cover off there is a mercury gauge and a circular dial which shows an arrow going around it which says "longer" and numbers going up.(.3,
.5, 2., etc). I turn the thermastat up to 90 to get the furnance going and the gauge does not go past 80...when I wake up in the morning it is at 70....I belive the thermastat may not be working properly??? What do you think it sounds like? Thank you for all your help. J
