First we need to determine what type of ignition system you have. Do you have hot surface ignition? This is where there is an element that glows orange and when then the main valve opens or intermittent spark igition, this is where your system calls for heat and you get an electric spark from the spark electrode to ground. You'll here this type make a zapping type of sound then it lights a pilot then the main burners open later. Or direct spark igition where the sparking directly lights the main burners. Let me know
