You can replace with any manufacturer you wish. I personally like Trane, Lennox, or even Carrier, but you have many alternatives. The basic information your furnace dealers need is: * Gas or Electric (which you failed to mention). Also, effectively using a heat-pump is dependent on where you live. Not colder than 40 in the winter. * Size of heated area (square feet). This will determine whether 80,000 BTU is adequate * Options you might want (humidifier and/or electrostatic air filter) * How much you are willing to spend.
Tip: Don't buy cheep junk. Its amazing how much people will spend on stuff like bathroom fixtures, but when it comes to one of the most important items in the house (a furnace) they want to go the cheep route.
