You know, I have a Paslode Compact Nailer gun I use for decks, fencing slats, framing, and you name it. It does not require a compressor and it is complete portable. Great tool. It uses a batter pack that will drive 5000 nails, and a fuel cell that drives 1200 nails. She sells for $399.

Bostich is a good brand and been around for a long time.

What I would suggest is that if your interested in that gun and the price is great, I would jump on that before some irresponsible renter uses that for one time and litterally ruins it. Regardless how the shell or outward appearance is, there are many working internal parts that need proper care. I treat my gun like my side arm in the service. Dirt is the main cause for malfunctions.

These guns are great, also make sure you can get a good selection in nails that IT will drive.
