Hi, we are in the middle of remodeling our home, in which we put in vaulted ceilings with the beams and paneling in much of the living area. Since we have opened up the wall between the kitchen and living area and wish to follow the vaulted ceiling lines in this area, but hang drywall and add recessed lighting. We have done much of the work and have been thinking that we would have adaquate amount of support by using hangers connected to beams on each side of the ceiling joists and securing them at eleven foot span at sixteen inch intravels at the angle of the ceiling. My husband wonders if the joists will sag if they are on this angle after the drywall is hung on them. Any advice, and especially a diagram would be helpful. I know if we can figure it out we will really enjoy the ceiling this way, and it will be compatable with the lines in the rest of the living area. Thank you, Linda Burton
