we are having the same problem . We had a professional come out to fix it and payed lots of money for it . about $5,ooo. He told us that the beams in the basement were to low and he put jacks in were the wooden ones were and had us turn them dowm (a turn a week) then he raised the part of the house that was sinking apparently to level. That was feburary and now its september and the problem is getting worse ! he also told us to keep the foundation moist all summer so we installed a sprinkler system to do that . all in all it has cost alot of money and still nothing is fixed we have cracks you wouldnt belive. and the part of the house that was raised is still pulling away from the house !
