Has anyone heard of putting buttresses on the outside of the wall of a basement foundation in order to keep it from shifting inward. Supposedly this is done on all governement buildings when they are built now to keep them in place.
My basement walls have had I-beams put in all around the wall, but those I-beams are now bowed and the floor is buckling.
Where can I find information out about this?
