I'm in the process of purchaseing a home. The home was built in 1910 and has a river stone foundation and it seeps water through it in small amounts. What would be the best and most economical way too fix this small problem? It also is in the stile of an old victorian on the inside and has the original fire place it has been updated with gas furnace and hot water tank but I would like too plumb it into the fire place and use gas instead of wood, what would be a good fire place insert too use in this stile of home too keep it in the old victorian apperance? Thank you very much Jerald Coffman new home buyer.
