I also purchased Formica laminate flooring in December, 2001 for a 450 square foot room. Within a few months, I began to see seams in the floor. I contacted the retailer immediately. The floor was finally inspected by Formica in 08/2002. Customer service is obviously not in their mission.
The claim was not honored becaused of "water damage". By their own admission in their claim report, there was not a high moisture level in the room yet the claim was denied.
Have anyone considered seeking legal council over this.
