HELP! I have an oil-fired hot water heater manufactured by The Ford Products Corporation out of Valley Cottage, NY. Anybody out there ever heard of them? I can't find any info on them via the local plumber or the web. The model number is #3016E. It doesn't seem to be getting the message that the water has gone cold after sitting overnight or all day long. The burner will fire right up if I hit the re-set, and it will continue to keep the water hot thru multiple showers and dishes, etc. It's just that initial use after it's been sitting a while without a draw.
Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
