I thought maybe you knew of someone with painted brick and that is why you asked. It's not all that uncommon in the big cities. I did have a good local contractor quote me $230 a square to install a high quality vinyl siding, with soffits, fascia, and all paintable surfaces fully wrapped. He said 3/4 of the wrapping cost is labor. I may get a quote from sears and the company that did the house belonging to the widow across the street.
Have fun with the painting. Don't forget to lay your sandwiches on your painted counter to see how they taste. When your done with the laminate, go paint some vinyl and brick for the heck of it. Don't forget the linoleum. I did see some "Paint Doc" stuff tonight in the April This Old House magazine that says you can paint it over glazed tile and grout. Would that mag lead us astray?
