Inspector said that it doesn't appear to be a structural problem - he thinks that a crown(?) on a joist was turned around causing a slight depression in the floor. He suggested that installing a ceramic tile floor could lessen the effect of the depression since installers could mud the area more level. He said that such depressions are common on 2nd floors. Think installing a ceramic tile floor rather than vinyl could help the aesthetics of this room?
