Henry and I usually go hand in hand on our viewpoints, but we disagree here. I prefer a terrain following fence, which dictates that if the changes in elevation are numerous, that your fence sections (posts) are by necessity closer together in some places than 7 feet. Do not make the mistake of placing the posts 8 feet apart in any case, you lose strength against high winds, you will always accidently make it longer than 8 feet in one or more locations by the time you set in concrete, etc...
