Foam Insulation-Spray on

Posted by Jason on May 26th, 1998 05:53 PM

Anyone tried a DIY or prof. done job using a spray-on insulation foam, similar to the one done on an older THO job? Looking to retrofit an existing frame home in the mid-west. The expanding foam ("GREAT STUFF" type can brands) would blow apart old palster walls, heard of a foam almost shaving cream consistancy that won't continue to expand and blow them. Or, anyone used the type that expands on air contact to spray on exposed walls/ceilings, then put finished materials up? Any thoughts?
