I have an age old hate for traditional fiberglass insulation for many reasons including Loose fibers in the air, poor insulating ability, a mess installing, itching and so on. Do you know of any reason not to use foam EPS board cut to size and installed between the studs? I know it's expensive and more work but to get away from fiberglass I would do it. I looked into sprayed in foam and the cost was way out of line. Also I have been warned of extreme fire hazzard with foam. What is your opinion?
