Fix the furnace

I also had a leak in the main drain tube, It rotted away from the housing. I put a plastic automotive coupler in the hole and used "Right Stuff" gasket maker and re-sealed. Jumped on the Net and found a company called:Carrier hvac, ordered the part number HH84AA015 BDP Furnace Control Circuit Board, replaces the old style that has the points/contacts, and back in action for less than $170.00! Our local contractor for fixing furnaces told me to buy a new one.....2500.00 bucks! You decide!
