Recently i took a trip and toured a house in Charleston, SC which had brick floors with a polyurethane coating over it.
I would like to put the same polyurethane coating on the hearth of my brick fireplace so it would be easier to clean and
would have a nice shiny coat. My concern is that polyurethane is flameable, and im not sure if i can put this coating that close to an
open fire safely. Can i put this coating on the hearth and if not what do you suggest???
This is the second e-mail i have written and i understand that you get lots of mail, so could you kindly tell me what i should do.
I got the first response but could not find my name on the message board like you suggested in the e mail.
Thank you so much for your time and attention.
