Hello. I need your professional advise on the fireplace in a home we recently purchased. The previous homeowner painted the fireplace BLACK and tried to marblize it with white! It looks terrible! My husband says it cannot be stripped because it is poreous and absorbs the paint. Please tell me how we can atleast make it presentable???Should we repaint again? Is there any way to make it look like real bricks? I would greatly appreciate hearing form you. Thanks ever so kindly.
