we have a full basement under our house, that
we want to finish.I was prepared to put down
pressure treated 2x4s,with plywood as my floor,
covered with padding and carpet.I have a dehum-
idifier in use year around. The room is not damp
there has never been any mold anywhere. Now i
hear from some realestate friends that my design
could create a mold problem that could be danger-
ous.I thought the raised floor would help with
warmth and it would also let the concrete breath.
I own all of the materials to do the project,
and now I,m banging my head against the wall
trying to find out how to avoid any problems.
I've called all my local building supply stores,
and they have no solid answers.we need this
space ,as our house is not that big.
I've searched the internet endlessly ,with no
success. The frustration is driving me nuts.
please, give me the proper methods.thank you.
