dryfloor subflooring in the basement is great as it both allows moisture to run off into the floor drains and gives an elevation from the cool cement floor.

If you use wood studs they cannot come into contact with the walls or floor, wood against concrete will rot very rapidly so tar paper the walls then frame your walls.

Insulation should be installed to 4' below grade and a vapour barrior
