I am thinking of using styrofoam sheets under my subflooring in my bathroom. I would put some support 2-4's but found people standing on a box of insulation for a/c installation with no damage to the insulation sheets. It seems to me with dense foam sheets I could build up the height and shapes of the floor with 1/2 plywood top. There would be no creaking or settling as with other building materials. Where can I purchase dense foam sheets to accomplish this or does this sound too flimsy for support? Thank You, Marcella Floyd
