There must always be a vapor barrier on the heated side of a building
this includes attic space. As for why he's never seen it could be due
to the fact that he only has experience with OLD houses were there is so
much air infiltration it doesnt make much difference. Also, there are
formulas for figuring vent area based on the square footage of roof
