Faux Wood Finishes

This task is so much fun! There are so many wood
finishes that you can do over this trim.
First you have to have a great background color.
Different wood finishes have various background colors.
Pine has a yellowish cream.
Red Mahogany has more of a redish brown, and so on.
Once you have a background color of paint, or oil based glaze, then you can do a woodgrain finish
with either stain or oil-glaze tinted.
