The septic tank was not invented by a rocket scientist. It was invented by a women that hated to go to the outhouse in the winter, and summer because of spiders and snakes. So she pushed her man, to put the outhouse in the house. Now here is the FACTS: a septic tank can set in clay, rock and on top of the ground if you live where it stays warm. the problem really is the fields that leach out the waste water. On a 750 gallon tank in clay you will need a Distribution box and 240 ft. of gravelless field pipe (gfp). This is the best thing since the septic tank. Oh, yes there is a real santa claus!
