Fabulon Floor Finish Questions

We are at the end of 7 long years of renovating a 100 year old house on Long Island's North Shore. We laid all new floors in the house (red oak and Brazilian cherry) and were told by several floor finishers what a great product Fabulon was because of its strength and durability.

We are now on our 3rd floor finisher and are having a terrible time with the finish coats. Our plan was to have 3 coats of high gloss with a covering coat of satin. The high gloss product was beautiful (self-leveling and spread like "butter" according to our finisher). Then we moved to the last coat and we got streaking and you could see applicator marks (although the finisher did nothing different). The product is not self-leveling, so we added mineral spirits to it which helped, but we still have streaking and it shows applicator marks. We have contacted the company, but they have no idea why we are having such a difficult time.

Is there a "different" manner in which this product is applied to the floors (i.e., different from other poly products). We are getting ready to rip out our hair! PLEASE HELP!
