Exterior Lighting

Posted by Tedd Doucette on March 28th, 2003 02:44 PM

I have made very handy use of Heath-Zenith’s Dual-Brite motion sensors. I have no less than 5 at various points of the exterior of my home. In particular, I have one of these sensors on the front of my house that controls 3 coach lights flanking my garage doors and a lamp post that is down my driveway, about 100’ from the house. At dusk, these 4 lights come on at a reduced brightness (power consumption) for a period that I can be set. When motion is detected, at any time during the evening, the lights come on at full power. This motion sensor performs exactly how I need it to, with the exception of one important feature: Motion needs to be sensed at the other end of the driveway as well. Is there a solution that performs as stated above, but also includes an additional, wireless motion sensor? Or is there some other method that I can accomplish this with over-the-counter components?
