excessive dust in house (?), fiberglas insulation removal

Our house is ~3 years old and has always seemed to be dusty. The dust is always a blue-gray color to the naked eye. The attic has blown fiberglas insulation. We've been told by our son's ENT doctor that it is due to the fiberglas insulation. She recommeded a room air purifier, which we already have in our son's room, and consider removing the blown insulation and putting in enclosed batts if we want to reduce the dust. (No, it was not suggested that this would cure his health problems.) Three questions: 1) has anyone gone through this and found positive results? (It's alot of work and expense!) 2) what would be the easiest way to remove the blown insulation? 3) Can you resell it or do you look to the landfill for disposal?
