Tanisha; I don't know where you live but I had insulation blown in my walls this summer. It was through Keyspan energy and nstar gas co. in Boston Ma. It only cost me 50% of the total cost. 594.00. Try contacting your city hall, gas co., or mayors office etc. If you are under a certain income you my be elegible for a grant for insulation, new windows, gutters, roofing, painting etc. At no cost to you. Don,t give up on this, you may do your family a great favor. do not get foam insulation. Get cellulose- ground up newspapers. It's bug resistant and fire retardent. In boston you can call the Homeworks program at city hall. Good Luck!
