electrical wiring in a new house

Posted by Jim Murata on June 24th, 1998 08:59 PM

with the dry walls as yet unstalled, I observed that many
ny wires were placed through holes drilled into
studs and some bearing studs...I think they compromise
the strength ofthe building....On top of all this the
builder placedthe electrical box in an inconvenient inner
wall location thus necessitating its relocation....thus
more holes in the studs......
what is the proper way to deal with unnecessary holes in
the structural framing?
