Actually, I can buy Henry's argument, because many new finishes are indeed catalyzed rather than evaporated. The contibuting factor however is a synthetic leather (plastic) that itself contains resins or catalysts capable of reacting with that finish.

Nicely done. Platitudes for ponderous pontification from Michigan. (bartender, another one over here LOL)
