I was showering yesterday and suddenly was without any hot water. This has never happened before, so I suspected a boiler problem. All the pipes around the boiler were hot, but the water in the boiler mate was cold. It appeared as though the circulation pump was not working. When I put a multimeter on C1 and C2 in the aquastat while boiler was powered the meter showed no voltage reading. When I jumped power directly to the ciculation pump it still did not run. I called a local repair service and they said to run a jumper wire from L1 to C1 to see if the pump was bad. The pump still did not start. However one of my jumper wires came loose and hit the side of the relay case and tripped the breaker. Upon resetting the breaker the boiler itself does not come on at all anymore. any suggestions on repairs and/or parts needed would be greatly appreciated.
