Joyce.......the best thing to do to get it on a broadwall without spraying it is to stipple it with the RL Leather Stippler brush.

Watch the video and read the instructions for the "Leather" technique.

Do this technique exactly as descriped - including the two coats of RL Semi-Gloss - call 1-800-379-POLO to get the correct color for the color of Duchesse Satin you are using. The only thing you do differently is use the Duchesse Satin in place of the glaze.

I have done this a number of times - it works very well - it looks even - and sort of hammered.

Two other tips.........make sure you have help - you can't do this technique alone - and make sure your room is as cool and or damp as possible (it helps the Duchesse Satin dry more slowly - easier to work)
